Turkey Lettuce Wraps

Turkey lettuce wraps! This is a quick easy crockpot meal. Just toss it in and off you go!

This can be eaten hot or cold. My husband likes to make it into a sandwich, because he can’t live without bread. I love it as a light meal on my low cardio days. Anyway you dish it up, this is yummy!

What you’ll need 

1 pound ground turkey

1 bell pepper

1/2 cup grated carrots

1 onion chopped

1 tablespoon minced garlic

8 oz can water chestnuts, drained and chopped

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1/4 cup braggs liquid aminos or low sodium soy sauce

1/4 cup hoisin sauce (our favorite is premier Japan, it’s organic and gluten free)

1 tablespoon honey

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

1 head of Lettuce ( do not put this in crockpot!) 😀 just separate the leaves, wash and set aside ( I place these in a salad container and keep in refrigerator)

Easy Crockpot Instructions 

1. Add all ingredients to crockpot and stir well.

2. Cook on low for 3 1/2 hours or on high  for 1 1/2- 2hours

3. Place in lettuce, wrap and enjoy!
